2012 Summer Internships are Available

Internships are available for 2-3 hardworking, motivated, eager to learn individuals for 2012 (April 1 - November 10). Interns will participate in general farm work including, planting, weeding, harvesting, washing and packing of produce. Additionally there will be opportunities to manage the on site farm stand, assist with sales at the Montpelier Farmer’s Market and participate in farm events. Weekly salary of $200/wk (could vary depending on prior experience). Room and board is not included, however it is possible to rent a room reasonably at a farm employee's home across the street from the farm. All farm employees have access to produce grown on the farm along with reduced rates on meats and items in the farm stand. We encourage applicants to visit the farm prior to employment to help determine whether both parties think the employment would be a good fit. However this visit is not required. There is a 3 week trial period that will include regular wages.
