Veggies are our specialty! We offer four sizes of vegetable shares so you can find the size and type of veggies for your household, diet, and budget, plus a Localvore share that is veggies and pantry items. Veggies change depending on seasonal availability.
Localvore Share: Our historically most popular share! This share is designed to fill your fridge and pantry with enough vegetables and local staples to cook healthy and well each week. We take care each week to combine vegetables with local items that work well together so that you have ingredients that go together in recipes. And then we provide the recipes too! This is our most diverse share. This share includes the Fancy sized veggie bag.
Who should get this share: The foodie who wants diversity in veggies and local pantry items. This share is $50/ week. Each week you’ll receive 6 – 9 veggie varieties plus 3 – 4 pantry items.
Everyday Standard Share: This share includes regular salad greens plus a variety of Pete’s Greens organic, seasonal veggies. It’ll include your everyday items like carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic, and beets as well as standard commonly eaten veggies, plus weekly fresh greens and herbs including kale, chard, parsley, and cilantro.
Who should get this share: The Everyday Standard is ideal for smaller households. This share highlights the veggies your household may be most likely to buy and use on a regular basis. It includes 5 – 7 veggie varieties for $25/week.
Fancy Share: Weekly salad greens and a few of your standard cooking veggies, but also includes herbs regularly and less common veggies like specialty radishes, radicchio, eggplant, and specialty greens. You’ll receive a generous portion of greens each week along with a wide variety of diverse veggies. The share includes 6 – 9 veggie varieties.
Who should get this share: The epicurean home chef! This is our most diverse vegetable share, ideal for adventurous home cooks and smaller households. This share is $32/ week.
Lean & Green Share: Regular salad greens and other greens for fresh eating and cooking (spinach, kale, arugula) plus basic veggie offerings like radishes, carrots, beans, cabbage, and peppers to top your salads, but no potatoes, parsnips, or beets. This share is offered April – December.
Who should get this share: This share is designed with salad eaters and small households in mind. It includes a large portion of fresh and cooking greens plus salad toppings. High starch veggies not included. This share is $20/ week.
