Our regular Spring Good Eats Localvore Shares are sold out. 

But wait!  We are offering a NEW 7 week long Late Spring Veggie-Only CSA share that will deliver weekly salad greens and fresh Spring veggies to members.  This share will begin May 2 (when loads of veggies in our greenhouses become available) and will span the weeks until the Summer share begins June 20.  This Veggie-Only share is only $22/week!  Joining this share is a great way to become acquainted with Good Eats.

And, you can still sign up for the Spring Meat share or Pete's Pantry Share (localvore products only).  Late starts will be pro-rated.

Vegetable Offerings

 This share period finds us taking advantage of last fall’s bountiful harvest and looking forward to the promise of spring. Though Spring is the most challenging time of the year to be a local eater in our climate, we are well stocked with beets, carrots, potatoes, rutabagas, cabbage, onions, and other treats from the root cellar.  In addition the freezer is storing summer goodness including squash puree, corn, sweet red peppers, tomatoes, beans, roasted red peppers, hot peppers. These, along with soil grown shoots & sprouts from our sprout room will fill the bulk of the vegetable portion of the share until late-March/early-April when greenhouse delicacies such as mesclun, baby pac choi, Asian greens, kale and chard burst onto the scene. In April, more greenhouse items will mature, including bunched beets, salad turnips, Napa cabbage, scallions, mini onions.  Late May & early June bring head lettuce, cucumbers, baby fennel, spinach, radishes and more.

Localvore Offerings

This period's offerings may include cider and varieties of apples from Champlain Orchards; yogurt and cream from Butterworks Farm; an array of Northeast Kingdom sheep, cow and goat cheeses; eggs from Pa Pa Doodles Farm(usually bi-weekly); whole wheat, pastry and unbleached white flour from various local VT farms; Breads from Elmore Mtn. Bakery and Red Hen Bakery; pizza dough from On the Rise Bakery; oyster and shiitake mushrooms; VT grown and pressed sunflower oil; popcorn, Quebec grown grains including oats and barley, tamari, and miso from several Quebec farms; apple cider vinegar and balsamic vinegars; local raw honey; applesauce, sauerkraut, chicken/veggie broth and other items from Pete's Kitchen; and much more. Most items are certified organic and all are produced with a conscience.

Our CSA Share Types

The Vegetable/Localvore Share provides our fresh greens, seasonal goodies and stored vegetables combined with a weekly assortment of localvore products from our favorite nearby food growers and producers and from our on farm kitchen. Price is $782 for 17 weeks.  THIS SHARE IS SOLD OUT FOR SPRING.

** NEW** Spring Veggie Only Share - May 2 to June 13th.  This new 7 week share means that Veggie Only members don't have to wait until the Summer share to join Good Eats.  This share begins when our greenhouses begin yielding a-plenty, allowing us to accommodate more members.  The share will provide a great weekly selection of salad greens and spring veggies for only $22/week!  This is a great way to get acquainted with a Pete's Greens CSA share.  Price $154 for 7 weeks.

Pete's Pantry Share provides the localvore items but not the vegetables. This share type is for folks who are splitting a vegetable share, but both parties want their own localvore products. Price $289 for 17 weeks

The Meat Share delivers an assortmemt of locally produced, pastured meats once a month. Price is $200 for 4 deliveries once a month.
