Good Eats CSA - FAQ
What is Good Eats CSA?
Good Eats is Pete's Greens' weekly food delivery program. Each Wednesday we deliver our members fresh vegetables from the farm along with locally grown and produced staples, value added products, and meats. Included with the beautiful fresh produce and food (the "good eats"), members receive a weekly newsletter with farm news and information, recipes, and storage tips for that week's share.
We started Good Eats CSA because we wanted the public to have full and direct access to all of the great organic and seasonal vegetables we grow and sell to restaurants, stores, and chefs across Vermont. Joining our CSA is the best way for our customers to experience the full diversity that makes up Pete’s Greens.
Good Eats is based on the Community Supported Agriculture model in which customers pay up front for vegetables and other farm products and receive a share every week. Our shares save our members an average of 18% per week over retail and they help our farm with the financial capital we need each season. You can pick up your Good Eats share at our farm in Craftsbury or at one of our pickup sites in central Vermont.

Do I save money with the CSA share?
Yes, you can save as much as 20% over retail by getting your vegetables directly from the farm through our Veggie Only Share. We estimate that the value of a weekly Localvore Share saves you on average 18% a week.
Do you offer payment plans?
Although we prefer that you pay for your entire share at the time that you sign up, we do offer payment options for vegetable and pantry shares.
Can I split a share?
Yes, simply fill out the sign-up form indicating that it will be shared. Co-members are responsible for splitting up the share themselves at pick-up. If you are looking for someone to split a share with email our CSA Manager to have your information posted on the page.
What if I can not pick up my share?
If it is last minute, we suggest you arrange to have a family member or friend pick your up your share. If you know that you will be away at least a week in advance, you will be able to halt delivery and be given credit on your account that you may use toward the purchase of a future share. You can not use your credit at the farm stand or farmer's market. To cancel a particular delivery contact us at least one week before the delivery you wish to cancel.
Do you give refunds or credits?
We do not issue refunds for the entire share. If you are disappointed in the quality of produce, or we are at fault for a missed delivery
to work out a fair compensation. Our goal is complete satisfaction.
Where can I pick up my share?
